Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from where you are in Zanzibar and take you to the airport to catch your flight to Mikumi which will depart at 07:30 and arrive at Mikumi Park at 08:40. When you arrive in Mikumi, you will meet your driver/guide and start the game drive jeep/4×4 Landcruiser, which will guarantee you to see the best big five wild animals (lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard & elephant) when the afternoon comes, it will be lunchtime where it will be the restaurant inside the Park, then you will continue with the game drive until 4:00 p.m. where at the end of the game drive, our guide will help you to the airstrip where you will meet your flight back to Zanzibar. When you arrive in Zanzibar the driver will be ready to take you back to your hotel.
Begin your adventure early in the morning as our driver picks you up from your accommodation in Zanzibar and takes you to the airport for your 07:30 flight to Mikumi National Park, arriving by 08:40. Upon landing, you’ll meet your safari guide and board a 4×4 Land Cruiser, perfect for navigating the rugged terrain.
During the game drive, you’ll have a chance to spot the “Big Five” – lions, rhinos, buffalos, leopards, and elephants – as well as a variety of other fascinating wildlife. Midday, stop for a delicious lunch at a restaurant within the park. After lunch, continue exploring the wonders of Mikumi, known for its remarkable scenery and abundant wildlife, before heading back to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar. Our driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel by evening.
